Course Summary:
This course will provide dentists with tools and strategies to proactively identify risks and employ steps to effectively minimize those risks. Key topics include understanding considerations for patient refunds, recognizing when it may be necessary to dismiss a patient, and selecting the appropriate forms and letters to use in these situations.

Bio:
Jessica Saetern
TDIC Senior Risk Management Analyst
Jessica Saetern is a Senior Risk Management Analyst with TDIC. She supports dental professionals through national speaking engagements at major industry events, virtual presentations, dental conventions, dental schools, and state dental societies. She brings over 20 years of dental experience in the areas of insurance billing, claims management, revenue cycle management, provider appeals and as a business consultant. Ms. Saetern leads the content creation and development for virtual courses on behalf of the Risk Management department. She also contributes to the Risk Management publications of RM Matters and Liability Lifeline.
