Abraham Nobel, DDS, MPH

Dr. Abraham Nobel completed his dental degree from the UCSL School of Dentistry and didn’t his AEGD program at the UCLA-Venice Dental Center. Inspired to further develop his knowledge of healthcare, Dr. Nobel entered Harvard University as a California Endowment Scholar. He received a Masters Degree in Public Health and Fellowship in Health Policy from Harvard School of Pubic Health and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Nobel happily practices dentistry in Los Angeles. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, and their two young sons, Elijah and Ezra.

Howard Kim, DDS

Dr. Howard Kim graduated form the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He also obtained a Masters of Science degree in Crainofacial Biology at USC before starting dental school. Dr. Kim is currently the Dental, Director for Via Care Community Health Center where he leads and directs the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality dental care services. He enjoys playing golf with his wife and cheering on the Dodgers and Lakers.

Parvaz Mizrahi, DDS, MPH

Dr. Parvaz Mizrahi is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor in Sciences and Bachelor in Humanities from UCLA and then received her Masters in Pubic Health at the UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Mizrahi received her DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. She them pursued her training in Oral & Maxiollofacial Surgery at the Alameda County Medical Center, UOP School of Dentistry. Dr. Mizrahi is also a fellow of the International College of Dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, loves to travel, and go shopping.

Na Eun (Sarah) Chung, DMD

Dr. Na Eun (Sarah) Chung is a board-eligible periodontist in Lost Angeles, CA. She is a first-generation immigrant who came to the United States at the age of 9. She is the first doctor in her family. Dr. Chung received her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Her passion for periodontology began while she was there studying. After that, she completed her three-year periodontal residency at USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. She currently serves as an assistant clinical professor in the department of Periodontology at USC and has her private practice serving the Koreatown community.

Holly Moon, DDS

Dr. Holly Moon earned her degree at UCLA School of Dentistry. She then earned her Orthodontic specialty certificate at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While maintaining a private practice, Dr. Mood served as a full-0time Assistant Professor of Advanced Orthodontics at Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC from 2007 to 2011. With her BS degree in Information & Computer Science and MS degree in Biomedical Informatics, one of her interests includes application of technology in healthcare. Dr. Moon is a member of ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics. She loves traveling, gardening, working on DIY projects, and loves coffee breaks.

Clark A Martin, DMD

Dr. Clark Martin is an endodontist and graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (both dental school and specialty residency). He has a private practice limited to Endodontics in Beverly Hills and is a visiting lecturer at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Martin has two daughters who are dentists. Dr. Alexa Martin, also and endodontist, practices with her dad in Beverly Hills and Long Beach, CA. Dr. Carly Martin is a general dentist practicing in Los Angeles and Torrance, CA. Yes, dinner conversations can tend to get a little "one-sided," but they also like to ski, snow board, and hang out near the beach/surf (though the surf days for Dr. Clark have passed).

New Professionals Committee Chair

Rachelle Kim, DDS

Dr. Rachelle Kim completed both her dental degree and dental anesthesiology residency program from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She is a board certified dental anesthesiologist, providing mobile concierge anesthesia services in the greater Los Angeles area and also works at a pediatric dental surgery center. In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, skiing, and spending time with family.

Ethics Committee Chair

Douglas Galen, DDS

Dr. Douglas Galen is a native of Los Angeles and has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Beverly Hills since 1995. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Galen is board certified and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxiollofacial Surgery . He is a fellow of the American Association of Oil and Maxiolloficial Surgeons and is a General Anesthesia evaluator for the California Dental Board. Dr. Galen serves on the attending faculty in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry and Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Galen has been an active member of the Los Angeles Dental Society where he serves as Chairman of the ethics task force. In this free time Dr. Galen enjoys spending time with his family and on the Pacific Ocean sailing, racing, and cruising.

Sherwin Matian, DMD

Dr. Sherwin Matian is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh school of Dental medicine. He completed his AEGD residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital. He is a Los Angeles native and went to UCLA for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Matian enjoys traveling and spending time with his family when he is away from his practice.

Sonia Molina, DMD, MPH

Dr. Sonia Molina graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the Harvard School of Public Health. She did her General Practice Residency at Wadswoprth Veteran Administrative Hospital and her endodontic speciality at UCLA. For the past 20 years, she has served as part of the Lost Angeles Dental Society in various positions including Past President. She currently serves as the LADS Legislative Committee Chair and was appointed to the Dental Board of California by Governor Gavin Newsom in October, 2020. Dr. Molina has had an endodontic practice in Downey for over 25 years.

Jeff Lee, DDS

Dr. Jeff Lee is a graduate of Herman Ostorw School of Dentistry at USF. He did an AEGD residency at USC and an Endodontic residency at NYU. Dr. Lee has a private practice limited to endodontics in Koreatown, Los Angeles. He is an third-degree black belt in Kendo. Dr. Lee loves traveling both locally and internationally as well as visiting museum and art galleries. He enjoys spending time with his wife and taking classes with her to learn untying new. Dr,. Lee is an art collector as well as a collector of many different types of collectables.
