Shred & E-Waste Disposal Event

The Los Angeles Dental Society is committed to ensuring the safe and secure disposal of old patient records, x-rays, and electronic waste. All materials meeting legal, fiscal, administrative, and archival requirements can be destroyed in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security rule regulations. To maintain the integrity of the process, safeguards are in place to protect the receipt, security, transport, removal, and disposal of such data.
- This service is complimentary for LADS Members.
- A maximum of 10 boxes per member is permitted.
- Molded or dry rotted boxes will not be accepted.
- Paper/file boxes containing x-rays will incur a charge of $150 per box.
- All x-rays and film for disposal must be placed in a separate box.
- Items for shredding will be accepted until truck reach capacity.
- E-waste items will also be accepted until truck capacity is reached.
