The Los Angeles Dental Society (LADS) and Western Los Angeles Dental Society (WLADS) are joining forces to offer a complimentary shredding and e-waste disposal event exclusively for WLADS/LADS members and their staff. Safely and securely dispose of old patient records, x-rays (must be separated), and electronic waste in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations.

Event Details:

• Who: Open to WLADS/LADS members and their staff ONLY
• What: On-site shredding for cars, SUVs, and pick-up trucks
• E-Waste Accepted: Computers, hard drives, cell phones, TVs, VHS tapes, discs, VCRs
• Certificates of Destruction: Provided for all shredded items
• Limit: 10 boxes per member
• Important: Please separate x-rays and films into a designated box and remove them from charts/papers

Do's:

• Unload your vehicle upon arrival
• Dispose of empty boxes
• Separate x-rays and film from papers

Don'ts:

• Do not bring shredding or e-waste in a U-Haul
• Moldy or dry-rotted boxes will NOT be accepted
